Once again Kaiser Karl and the team at Chanel have outdone themselves. Clearly no expense has been spared for the launch of the ultra-chic, ultra-subtle and, naturellement, ultra-exy Chanel Eau Premiere.
If this is the box that the sample comes in, presented to select David Jones clientele who were personally invited to come in to ‘experience’ the new scent, what must you get when you actually pay money? The mind briefly boggles before being overtaken with reckless thoughts of wanting to find out!
So clever, so theatrical, so outrageously over-the-top that you just have to hand it to them for the sheer extravagance of it all! And so beautifully done, as we have come to expect. Welcome to the fragrance big time…
This new version of No. 5 is being touted as the lighter, freer yet more sophisticated younger sister of the original scent, and I was wondering how you could improve upon perfection (or indeed, why you would want to), but I have to say I am impressed.
